Is there VST3 Support Planned?

There's a test version atop the LFOTool forum. Serum is in testing also, nearing releases I expect!

You can currently use note velocity in FL Studio, in Serum you need to link it to a destination with the VELO source in lower-right, or in the Matrix for Velo->Volume:

Source: Velo Amt: 100% Dest: Global->Amp <-> mod Type.

however FWIW, VST3 support is now planned (however not imminent).

Thanks Steve. I'll give that a shot now.

Where can I find the installer for the VST3 beta on Discord? There is just one long thread

Yes! I am waiting too. Just bought the m1 pro and everything works but Serum… such an important part of my work.

There is a VST3 in beta - you can enable Rosetta in Cubase or you can join the Discord atop the Serum forum and follow the instructions there for beta access. It's getting close to release.

Now that VST3 for Serum is in beta, what I miss is the ability to edit real numeric values for automation points which is imho one of the biggest advatages of VST3 :-(

You mean like this? You'd need to clarify what you mean and what your DAW and OS is, what you see vs expected. Also make sure you see "Serum VST3i" on Menu->About…

Sorry forgot to mention:

Windows 10 64bit… Reaper/S1… didn´t test in Ableton though…

Does Cthulhu have VST3 support? I've looked for an answer but have not found anything definitive. The demo version is still VST2.

Yes, there is a pre-release VST3 version for Cthulhu users (and Nerve + LFOTool as well). I should have the demos updated somewhat soon.

Hello guys, where can I do the update for serum vst3 ?

steve_xfer

The VST3 is part of both the Serum installer, and the update installer. Both of these are found in "your account".

Hey guys/hey Steve, are there any news about VST3 support for Cthulhu and LFOTool? What about the pre-release you talked about in November? Since I switched to Ableton 12 on my M1 Mac I'd like to use these indispensable tools in VST3 format in my projects to get max performance :) Would be glad if you could update us.
