Hi Steve, sorry for bothering you with another splice related situation.
I paid serum via splice RTO years ago and was using it just fine, ever since I switched to a M1 mac, I'm having trouble with serum, keeps asking me for the serial number all the time, I had to write it down on notes cause I just can't find a solution, the splice instructions to connect the accounts may not be working cause in this account I don't see my license, I do have my serial number.
Is there a way to add my serial number to this account? do I have an account created by splice but can't access it? Could this be related to the M1?.
thank you for your time.

The original Splice email address used to start the Splice lease is automatically registered with our website and is where the installers and SN# are located. Based on the description there is likely an expired Serum.lic file on your machine and possibly the wrong SN# that has been entered.
macOS
1) Go to folder (command-shift-g in finder) and type or paste (including ~ mark):
~/Library/Application Support/com.splice.Splice
Delete Serum.lic (if present)
2) in Finder, command-shift-G ('go to folder') and type or paste (including ~ mark):
~/Library/Application Support/
Delete the com.xferrecords.serum folder there.
Serum will prompt for your SN# on the next launch.
If the issue continues then please open a support ticket at [email protected] with your OS/ DAW version / Splice email address / username / UUID found in the Splice profile. This will help locate your account and verify the SN#.
I love you! serum is working!! thank you :)
