Set current skin as default skin not working?

Hi guys, i recently hopped onto the rent-to-buy method for Serum through Splice and i'm loving this synth so much. Obviously i was also excited for the custom skins features that Serum provides so i thought i'd test it out. The one thing i noticed though was when i pressed the "Set Current Skin as Default" it never actually saved the current skin i was using as default. So everytime i would create a new midi channel and open Serum, it would go back to the classic skin. Am i doing something wrong? Or is there a fix for this?
