Serum through Splice crashing pro tools

I have downloaded serum through splice, everything is working great except pro tools will randomly crash with just one serum instantiated. Sometimes its immediately, sometimes after 15 minutes or so of using it. This crashing doesn't occur with any other plug-ins. It is not a CPU error, i have trashed prefs, redownloaded splice and serum and checked for updates. What else can I try?

specs: Macmini osx 10.15.7, pro tools 2020.12.0. splice version 5.0.14

Same thing here…protools is rock solid until I start using Serum…then I get crashes every 10-15 minutes.

Yes, we were able to finally track down a race condition between ProTools 2024 and Serum - There is a fix candidate which will be a formal update very soon hopefully, you can write support with your OS if you'd like to help QA that fix (though seems to have done it).
