Serum (offer on another web site)

Hi I would love to own Serum but unfortunately I do not have £143 to spend as I do not get paid for music and am still learning. I have been slowly upgrading my software in small incremental steps with help of offers, for example I now own Cubase 9 pro which I bought in steps and discounts, Sylenth1 again when there was a nice offer on, few other soft synths have been purchased in similar fashion. I bought KRK 5's from a friend of a friend with mates discount. Currently saving to get Steinberg UR242.
So while looking if can find it elsewhere at a lower price I can across a site called "Splice" and amongst other things they offer a "rent to own" system, where you pay $9.99/month until you pay it in full at which point you own the licence. I am wondering if this something that you are aware of and if it is legitimate site?

Thanks for the interest - Splice is legitimate, I partnered with them on that offering.
