I installed the demo of serum 1.320 which gave me the Serum_x64.dll. I copied this to my vst-plugin folder but the vst instrument is not showing up in my cubase. I did the same procedure before with your lfo-tool demo - this worked without any problems.
My specs: Windows 10, Cubase 8.5 Artist

Make sure Serum_x64.dll is in the VST2 folder that Cubase is looking to.
Windows Key + R (Run)
%APPDATA%\Steinberg\
go to the Cubase 8.5 folder
Delete the file Vst2xBlacklist Cubase.xml
Restart Cubase
