Recently Bought Serum and Can't get it to Update to the Newest Version

Hey all,

I recently bought serum and have had no issues installing the base version onto my PC. However, I have downloaded the new version from the website a few times and tried saving it in different folders, but Serum never updates. I've already tried closing and reopening my DAW, restarting my computer, and pretty much any other random thing I can think of. When I look in the About section it still tells me that I have version 1.000 and I can't use any of the new features. It's been pretty frustrating and I'd be super grateful to anyone who can offer me a fix.
