I'm in the process of setting up both my studio and portable computers to automatically synchonize sound libraries using Resilio Sync (formerly BitTorrent Sync) so that any changes or updates I make on one computer can be available on the other. This is working fine for my sample libraries, for example, or project libaries, but I'd love to do this with plugins too, especially the three Xfer goodies I have; Serum, LFO Tool, and Cthulu.
I'm running into an issue in that Resilio Sync can't access the Library folder on my Macs, due to permissions, so I can't automatically synchronize the Xfer stuff in the plug-ins folders.
My goal is purely to be able to automatically synchronize my sound libraries and any settings I make between computers, so I'm not tied to using Resilio Sync, so my question is in two parts:
1) Would it be possible to move the Xfer presets into another folder in my user account on my mac (so that Resilio can copy etc)
or
2) Is there any other way to sync the Xfer folders on my two computers?
