Jut thought I'd post this idea to Steve and the group as something I have been toying around with in my head. Seems cost prohibitive, but sometimes thinking about how something would work in the analog domain can help to understand how to use a tool in different or better ways. It has also expanded my understanding of the relationships of compression, expansion/upward compression, parallel compression a'la "New York" compression.
I ask the question here regarding what type of signal path/circuitry would be needed to emulate the effect of OTT with Analog Hardware.
