need help figuring compatibility issues. I have tons of sessions with 1.34 vst3.

1.37 vst3 does not recall on loading any sessions containing 1.34

reasonable solution?

Try deleting the VST3 at C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 or Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
Make sure your DAW is showing the VST2 version.
Things should be the same at that point.

checked all these, still unable to get any of my sessions that contain vst3 1.34 to recall vst3 1.37

latest ableton, beta, and normal release

I don't know what to do tbh

precision : when I say "recall" I mean loading - the plugin appear as missing when 1.37 is installed. and it loads up when 1.34 is installed

Sounds like you were using the VST3 of 1.34. it was a very short-lived version that had unfortunately had an invalid VST ID (it was my first stab at VST3).

To have things as painless as possible it would probably be best to bite the bullet and update one way or another (finishing projects, or screenshotting the plug-in settings and then updating OTT and replicating settings on instances) or stay with 1.34 forever,. which is a worse option probably but less near-term pain.
