Old version of serum loading

I just updated serum to the latest version on FL Studio, it works fine although when I save the file and reopen it, it loads version 1.000 instead of the latest version. Any ideas on why this might be happening ? Thanks.

You have installed to two different locations.
Check FL12 Plugin Manager for VST locations.
Delete Serum.dll and Serum_x64.dll in Explorer from all locations.
Run FL, make sure Serum is not available.
Re-run the latest update installer.

having same problem as OP and keep deleting old .dll files then installing new one and old ones keep reappearing instead

files can't come back to life, you're either re-installing an old update, or you haven't deleted the dll files from all locations.  Look again in FL12 plugin manager, and make sure that in fact Serum is not available after deleting.
