Norton disables some files based on "reputation" (basically not being familiar - it's a fine line between security and paranoia).

I think you can add the files to be excluded from the warnings or to safe files, not sure what terminology Norton uses. But from my past knowledge and those of others I know used it, Norton has always been showing far too many false positives. There should be an exclusion system or ability to add files to "safe/white" list or something to that effect.
@RobUK @WAXX If you’re still having trouble, here is what I do.
Typically after it removes a plugin it adds it to it’s quarantine. You can access this from the homepage > history. Click the drop down menu and select quarantine. Select the files in question and hit restore > exclude from future scans. This will restore the files and—unless you completely reinstall—won’t count them as threats. If this wasn’t clear or you’re still having trouble, just let me know.
