Licence has expired through Spice but I bought the synth before Splice existed?

Ezz all,

I bought Serum pretty much the day it came out before it was twined with pay to own on Splice and today I got a prompt when opening Serum that my licence has expired and to open Splice to re initiate the licence.

I use Splice but have never used it with pay to rent with Serum as I had already bought it.

I have since opened Splice and everything seems to working fine but I'm worried this is going to come up again.

Is this a glitch? Has my licence been changed and twined with pay to rent on Splice?

Im a bit confused.

From your description, it sounds like perhaps there is an expired Splice lease file on your computer. Maybe someone signed in on your computer that is leasing Serum on Splice.

On MacOS:

Go to folder (command-shift-g in finder) and type or paste (including ~ mark):

~/Library/Application Support/com.splice.Splice

Delete Serum.lic

On Windows:

C:\%localappdata%\splice

delete Serum.lic
