How stable is Cthulu for a macbook running Snow Leopard 10.6.8?
I installed the demo but my Logic Pro 9 keep crashing, even with new projects with 4 track layers.
specs: older black macbook 2008 with 4gb, 2.4 Ghz and a 750 ssd drive.
*I prefer to not update as it would mess up older programs and plugins pertaining to logic.
Logic X is much better as it has MIDI FX plugins.
For Logic 9 you need to read chapter 4 of the manual. Stability is improved there in the latest/full version.

Thanks Steve, that helped but I also noticed that I attempted these steps last night and was unsuccessful.
The crashing stopped, i noticed it was because I switched from IAC Bus 2 to Bus 1 since nothing was working and I forgot to switch back.
But I was unable to have Cthulhu play the instruments in my library. It wont trigger the external sounds for some reason.
I did both methods 1&2 (secure and quick) and nothing.
I'm not sure, try restarting the computer and setting the # of IAC busses to just 1. I'm afraid I have to again suggest upgrading as I am phasing out 10.6 support regardless.
I understand, I'll try that option setting the iac busses to just 1 again. Did it earlier but didn't restart my system.
As for the upgrade, to risky for me. Would hate for even 10% not to migrate properly, but either way appreciate the advice.
ps.. whats the little H (to the right of the gears/settings) for, didnt see it in the instruction menu?
I'm running Cthulhu on Logic Pro X and it crashes I press a note on my keyboard. My Mac is running on High Sierra. I followed the directions but can't get it to work. Not sure what to do.
You should be running Cthulhu as a MIDI FX in Logic X. Write me via the contact form if that doesn't resolve it.
