Cthulu
I have watched dozens of youtube vids on how to set up Cthulu with FL Studio 12. Almost all show that you open cthulu and change midi to 20 in both in and out. MOst of the videos show opening up the Synth it is going to and closing on gear wheel and setting that to 20 also. None of the ( Sytrus in my case) synths I opened up have this setting for midi in it. Perhaps Fl changed this is in one of last updates.
Secondly some videos show using patcher. I have been successful in getting this to actually work but 1) there is no way to change the preset on the synth. They wont come up after set up with patcher. 2) only sound is being produced. The actual notes generated are not the ones generated from Cthulu.
Can anyone give an answer. I have the latest 12.4 version of FL. I have spent so much time on this. Cthulu has promise but not worth all the time spent trying to hook up.
I have tried to set up in Mixcraft. Got it to generate sound but not the notes made by Cthulu.
