Cthulhu in Logic only sends when Arp is on.

I have set up a new Logic track where I have connected an external gear (MC-707).
And run the Cthulhu as a midi fx.
I get the Cthulhu to send Arp to the MC-707 but when I deselect the Arp and only try to send chords it only send one note, and the Cthulhu keyboard doesnt light up over the keybed as it does when just using the cthulhu with internal sounds.
Anyone who knows how to get this to work?

Make sure the notes to Cthulhu are on MIDI CH 1, maybe try penciling them in the track.
