CTHULHU - Any chance of a AU component that doesn't use the AIC bus?

I only use AU version of my plugins in Live, is there any change of seeing an AU version of CTHULU that doesn't use the AIC bus?

It's pretty minor admittedly but this would be the only plugin I have to switch VST plugin scan for, making my plugin window one level deeper in Ableton (with the AU/VST as top level directory).

Unfortunately AU Doesn't allow for MIDI out any other way than through CoreMIDI (IAC).
I already asked Apple if they plan for this, they told me they have no such plans.
