change the LFOTOOL's default preset

hi,
i want to use my own preset as a starting point each time i open LFOTOOL, is this possible?

Yes, in the latest version if you have purchased! Please search post in the LFOTool forum if you need support!

Below worked for me:

  1. Open LFOTool
  2. Edit your settings you wish to have as default
  3. Click "Save" under presets button
  4. Save in desired location, I suggest under "LFOTool Presets"/User/default.fxp
  5. Open "LFOToolConfig.txt" file (it exists inside the "LFOTool Presets" folder)
  6. Find the value in square brackets at the line that sets default preset, in my case it was:
    [Sidechain/Sidechain-1.fxp] default preset, relative to this config file e.g. /Sidechain/Sidechain-1.fxp
  7. Change the value in square brackets to point to the preset saved in step 4.
    [User/default.fxp] default preset, relative to this config file e.g. /Sidechain/Sidechain-1.fxp

Reload the LFOTool, the default preset should be loaded now.
