Hi. I just can't get this thing to work in FL-Studio.. Any reason for that? I can open the vst-plugin "cthulhu", but I can only work with the bach-presets which is already in there.
Can I work with "Cthulhu" with e.g "Sylenth1" or "Nexus" in any future?
Yes you can already - Page 8 of the included PDF manual details how to route this!
So I have no idea what to do whatsoever. I tried something with this, but it just kept crashing lol.
^ Above is a screenshot of what I'm dealing with. If you could guide me after that, or point out what is missing or whatevs, that'd be great!
Actually I am not sure you need the MIDIOut module.
Assign the port in the top-right corner of your screenshot (LoopBe Output) to a number (e.g. 5)
Assign that same number to the "Output port" on Cthulhu
then hiight a different track than Cthulhu
There are several threads about some other FL tips+tricks in the Cthulhu registered user forum!
Hey Steve, I was wondering if you could help me figure this out . I am running Logic and have taken all the necessary steps and have got the IAC Bus to work with option 2 that you stated in the manual, but can't seem to be able to get it to run by option 1. I'm stuck on the "Clicks & Ports" page when I am supposed to select what Soft Instrument to send the midi signal from the IAC bus to.
You mentioned in your manual Page 11, #8:
" Assign the destination of our Instrument to the synth we wish to play.
Alt-click on the triangle to the right of the newly-created instrument object. A pop-up will appear where you can select the destination track (the soft-synth you wish to have Cthulhu play). "
but when I right click I does not allow me to choose from the options so I can tell it what Software instrument to send it to. I've uploaded a screenshot to further show you what I mean. http://imgur.com/mGE9n
It would be very helpful if you could assist me on what to do at this point.
Hi smosapor,
You need to alt-click on the output arrow (>) of the newly created instrument object, not the object itself. I'll try to make that more clear in the manual.
Warm Regards,
Steve
I figured it out, thanks Steve! It would be helpful if you clarify that Alt-click is Option click on the mac keyboard, because it might be confused with right click, which does not give the same result. However, very helpful!!
Cheers
