I think this would be a much speedier way to get those LFO's from Serum and into the automation lane in your daw of choice. It would be much more intuitive than going to the matrix and looking around for all connections to said LFO to re-route to your macro of choice. I also believe it would be rather easy since drag and drop from LFO is already loaded into the code in a few places. I think this would be a huge upgrade for those of us who like to test LFO's in serum but want to export them into our daw for even more control since Serum only allows for 16 steps of automation points. When using long sweeping automation curves, for instance on risers, it can be a little daunting getting them EXACTLY how I like them.
